Publisher Andre’s Sea (CEO Baek Song-i) announced on the 5th that it has published a new book, ‘Digital Learning’, which innovatively explores learning methods in the digital age.

This book is the first in the series ‘Education Digitalization in the Age of Population Decline’, providing useful material for both education professionals and students, and delves into the essential digital learning methods and tools in the modern educational environment.

‘Digital Learning’ includes topics such as ▲innovation in teaching and learning methods ▲school culture where digital and analog generations come together ▲customized digital learning in the era of population decline ▲transformation of career and career development methods ▲fun lifelong learning through digital ▲self-management ability of digital learners ▲the future of education and digital learning. It also suggests strategies to help learners achieve better results through digital education and to prevent various problems that may arise in the educational field in advance.

The ‘Education Digitalization Series in the Era of Population Decline’ consists of three volumes, ‘Digital Learning’, ‘Digital Teaching’, and ‘Digital Coaching’. It looks at the roles of society and those around future teachers and learners who need to assist them, and focuses especially on strategies to strengthen parents’ competitiveness in their children’s education in the digital age.

The author, Professor Eun-soon Cho, graduated from the Department of Educational Technology at Ewha Womans University, received a master’s degree in broadcasting from Tech Tech University in the U.S., and a doctorate in educational technology from the University of Connecticut. She is currently a professor teaching prospective secondary school teachers at Mokwon University’s College of Education. She previously served as a researcher at the Aetena Comprehensive Training Institute in the U.S. and as the head of the education consulting team at the POSCO Management Research Institute.

Professor Cho said, “The goal of this book is to think about educational principles before teaching and learning digitally and expect better digital education outcomes,” adding, “It will be able to provide guidelines for living in the ever-changing digital age by minimizing the side effects of digital education and preventing problems that may arise in public education in advance.”
