The Flash is already in theaters, and it hasn’t taken long to raise a lot of controversy around one of the fundamental characteristics of the film: the CGI. The special effects are dand’de what to talk about, and not precisely because they look completely good.

As a result of this, social networks have been flooded with a series of images (full of spoilers, of course) mocking and some even describe it as the most ‘film’shameful‘ so far this year. In the midst of all this, Andy Muschietti, the film’s director, has decided to come out in defense, through an interview he gave to io9.

In the talk, the director of The Flash pointed out that the idea is that we are seeing the character’s perspective, so “everything is distorted in terms of lights and texture» and that is part of the design. Likewise, Muschietti warns that if you see it strange, it is because it was planned to look like that.

The filmmaker’s words have not completely calmed down the fandom, since several took what was said slyly and even found Muschietti’s statements weak for trying to defend his work. Regardless of the special effects, questionable or not, The Flash movie turned out to be a very funny film, with a Ezra Miller showing his full potential as an actor.
