Thiruvananthapuram: In the Aneesh George murder case in Pettah, the police took evidence with the accused. The evidence was taken to the house of the accused who committed the murder. Defendant Simon Lalan showed the police the place where Aneesh was killed and the place where the weapon was hidden.

According to police, the accused Simon Lalan had earlier decided to kill Aneesh. But Aneesh was not summoned and killed. Aneesh, who was close to his daughter, knew that he used to come home from time to time. So Simon decided to kill Aneesh if he was found at home. According to police, Aneesh was found dead in his house around 3 am on December 29 and was later stabbed to death. Defendant has also corrected the statement that he stabbed the youth thinking that he was a thief.

Aneesh George, 19, of Pettah, was killed on the morning of December 29 at his friend’s house. Aneesh, the daughter’s boyfriend, was stabbed to death by Simon Lalan. After the incident, the accused went to the police station and informed himself. Simon’s first statement was that he was stabbed because he thought he was a thief.
