jpnn.comJAKARTA – Celebrity Angela Lee was arrested by Polda Metro Jaya on suspicion of fraud and embezzlement using the method of buying and selling branded bags.
This was revealed by the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
Angela Lee is suspected of embezzling money from the sale of 15 luxury bags from Hermes to Louis Vuitton brands purchased by victim FI.
The total loss suffered by FI due to the embezzlement committed by Angela Lee reached IDR 3.2 billion.
“It’s true, an arrest has been made of a public figure with the initials AC alias AL,” said Ade in his statement, quoted Friday (16/8).
Ade Ary explained that Angela Lee was detained after being questioned by investigators as a suspect related to the case reported by EI with the victim with the initials FI.
Investigators decided to detain him on the grounds that it would facilitate the investigation.
“Subjective reasons, fear that the suspect will repeat his actions and fear of destroying evidence,” he said.
Celebrity Angela Lee was arrested on suspicion of fraud under the guise of selling luxury bags.
