Angelina Jolie sells her shares in the Miraval winery

by time news

Brad Pitt has new neighbors on his Château Miraval estate. His former wife Angelina Jolie, who the actor married in 2014 on the joint estate in southern France, has now sold her half to the Tenute del Mondo wine group.

When the plans of the Oscar winner (“Crazy”) became known a few weeks ago, Pitt had accused her of vindictiveness. Jolie is said to have prevented the 57-year-old actor (“Allied – Confidant Stranger”) from acquiring her shares in the winery, which is valued at more than 160 million dollars.

The dispute continues

Pitt is said to be particularly bitter about the fact that he signed ten percent of his shares in Miraval to the actress a few years before the abrupt split in 2016. Until then, his company Mondo Bongo owned 60 percent of the property, but Jolie’s company Nouvel only owned 40 percent. Allegedly, the couple also agreed a mutual right of first refusal at the time.

After Pitt’s unsuccessful attempt to have the sale banned by a court in recent weeks, Hollywood’s former dream couple is now continuing to argue about custody of their underage children, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
