jpnn.comJAKARTA – Esa Unggul University political communications observer Jamiluddin Ritonga assesses that the close attitude of the two former governors of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, indicates the increasingly close relationship between the two national figures.

The two of them were seen sitting side by side and whispering to each other during an event at DKI Jakarta City Hall some time ago.

“It is hoped that the close relationship between Anies and Ahok will spread to their supporters. “At least the relationship between supporters of Anies and Ahok can be more fluid so that Jakarta residents will be more peaceful and harmonious,” said Jamiluddin in his statement, Monday (2/1).

According to him, the harmonious supporters of Anies and Ahok can be a strength in helping the elected governor and deputy governor, Pramono-Rano, to develop Jakarta.

This will make it easier for Pramono-Rano to realize his political promises during the 2024 regional election campaign.

Jamiluddin suspects that the two of them could jointly convey their full support to Pramono-Rano in carrying out their functions and duties as governor and deputy governor of Jakarta.

“The political, psychological and sociological effects will be different if delivered simultaneously,” he said.

Apart from that, Anies and Ahok appear to be making a joint political speech. Political speeches could be their response to national and state problems.

Jamiluddin Ritonga believes that the friendly attitude of former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama indicates the increasingly close relationship between the two
