jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan DPP, Djarot Syaiful Hidayat, said that Anies Baswedan had indeed visited the office of the party with the white-nosed bull symbol, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (26/8).
The former Blitar Regent said that Anies came to Building B of the PDI Perjuangan DPP which is located not far from the main office location.
“PDI Perjuangan always builds communication and dialogue, indeed we saw Mr. Anies come to Building B,” said Djarot in a press conference at the PDI Perjuangan DPP office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday.
The legislator from Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives said that when Anies was at Building B of the PDI Perjuangan DPP, he met with former Banten Governor Rano Karno or Si Doel.
“Meet Si Doel, Bang Rano,” said Djarot.
He said there was nothing wrong when Anies and Rano spoke at the party office. After all, both figures wanted to socialize as former leaders in the province.
“Isn’t it allowed to discuss? It is allowed, right? So, in order to foster friendship, to discuss what Jakarta will actually be like in the future, to exchange experiences,” said Djarot.
Djarot then received questions from the media crew about the names of Anies-Rano who will be the 2024 Jakarta Gubernatorial Candidates supported by the PDI Perjuangan.
