jpnn.comJAKARTA – Former Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan responded to the many names of figures proposed to be his deputy in the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.
Some of these names include PSI General Chairman Kaesang Pangarep, Deputy Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council Mohamad Sohibul Iman, and PAN politician Zita Anzani.
According to Anies, the large number of names proposed as his deputy is a sign of the trust the party has placed in him.
“I think it is a mandate of trust. We will carry it out as best we can,” said Anies at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, Sunday (28/7).
Even so, Anies will still discuss the name of his running mate with the supporting party.
“We’ll discuss the name for our partner together later,” he said.
The former Chancellor of Paramadina University admitted that the most important thing in this gubernatorial election was the people of Jakarta.
When meeting with mothers, there were many complaints and input such as economic difficulties and job opportunities.
