jpnn.comJAKARTA – Poltracking Indonesia released the findings of its latest survey related to the Jakarta gubernatorial election.
The survey, which was conducted on 9 -15 September 2024, showed that voters Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar in the 2024 presidential election tended to choose the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor candidate (cagub-cawagub) Ridwan Kamil-Suswono (RIDO) in the Jakarta Pilkada.
As many as 45.4 percent of Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar voters in the 2024 presidential election who live in Jakarta tend to choose Ridwan Kamil-Suswono.
Executive Director of Poltracking Indonesia, Hanta Yuda AR, revealed that the migration map of Anies Baswedan’s supporters will start in the 2024 presidential election, in the 2027 regional election, and will be based on the level of satisfaction with Anies’ performance when he was Governor of Jakarta.
“Anies-Muhaimin and Prabowo voters tend to choose Ridwan Kamil-Suswono, while the Ganjar-Mahfud voter base tends to choose Pramono-Rano in the Jakarta Pilkada,” said Hanta in his statement, quoted Saturday (28/9).
Not only supporters of Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar, voters of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election also tend to choose Ridwan Kamil-Suswono.
Based on data, as many as 57.4 percent of voters elected for president and vice president in 2024 tend to support Ridwan Kamil-Suswono to lead Jakarta in the next five years.
Not only that, the Poltracking survey also showed that the electability of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair was higher than the other two candidates.
