jpnn.com – Former Minister of Education and Culture (Mendikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia Anies Baswedan visited the PDI Perjuangan Jakarta DPD office in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Saturday (24/8).
PDI Perjuangan politician Masinton Pasaribu said that Anies came to his political party office in Kelapa Gading to establish communication.
“Mr. Anies’ visit to the Jakarta PDI Perjuangan DPD today was in the context of fostering friendship,” said Masinton when met by media crew at the location, Saturday.
The founder of REPDEM said the results of Anies’ discussions with PDI Perjuangan politicians in Jakarta would be conveyed to the central level.
“Well, later the results of this discussion will be submitted by the DKI PDI Perjuangan DPD to the DPP,” said Masinton.
He then received questions from the media crew about the possibility that PDI Perjuangan would support Anies in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.
Masinton responded by saying that currently PDI Perjuangan is still focused on building communication with potential nominated figures.
“Yes, of course building communication. Communication first, right, aligning frequencies, perceptions, then discussing PDI Perjuangan,” he continued.
