Thiruvananthapuram: CPM district secretary Anavoor Nagappan said that the controversial incident of the letter in the name of Mayor Arya Rajendran was not discussed in the district committee. Anavoor informed that it has not been decided to appoint a commission of inquiry into the incident.

Meanwhile, the vigilance officials reached and took the statements of two employees of the mayor’s office. The statements of Vinod and Girish were recorded. Both testified that the controversial letter was not prepared and the letter pad was kept in the mayor’s office.

Vigilance and Crime Branch are investigating the incident. The investigation team is yet to find the original of the controversial letter. The investigation team has only the picture circulated on social media.
