Dear Heinziii,
Today I would like to congratulate you in a very special way. You know me, I always have to exaggerate a bit. Anything else wouldn’t be your Anni either!
We met once. Not in Berlin, Hamburg or Munich. Nope! Quite unspectacular in a tiny little village called Harlingerode. Of all places where you grew up. There are coincidences, they don’t exist at all.
But maybe there are fateful encounters? Ours was destiny! Because what started out as friendship turned into love.

One touch changed everything and love became life. Our common. Because it wasn’t an ordinary touch like “touched a thousand times, nothing happened a thousand times.” There were a thousand and ONE that Zoom had made. One that touched.
Back then, at the age of 66, a new life began for you and we’ve had a lot of fun together ever since. As Mr. and Mrs. Hoenig. We, two people who couldn’t be more different and yet are so incredibly similar.
Who understand each other, trust each other unconditionally and have a compatible quirk. Which, as the Harz native would say, fit together like a glove!

Heinz and Annie. You and me, two crazy people on a mission! Accomplices who always stick together in good times and bad. Holding on to each other where others would have long since let go.
But we don’t just dance around our kitchen when the sun is shining, we also rock the stage of life together when it rains. Jack, queen, honey – always an ace up your sleeve! Despite every (head)wind, we set sail. Towards the future!
And during this time I don’t want to miss you for another second and celebrate many more birthdays and celebrations with you. Just like your 72nd today!
