A large number of consumer household electronics, electrical, home and kitchen appliance products of Walton brand have been affected by flash floods in several southeastern districts of the country. Walton’s Customer Service Management (CSM) will provide free service to customers affected by the repair of these products.

Walton Hi-Tech Industries Plc Managing Director SM Mahbubul Alam directed the CSM department to provide free service to customers in repairing flood damaged electronics products in a special meeting organized at Walton Corporate Office in the capital recently. In view of his instructions, the CSM department has announced free service for the customers of Walton products affected by the floods.

Shivdas Roy, Head of Walton CSM Division, said that the houses of lakhs of families in several districts of the southeastern part of the country were submerged in water recently due to sudden floods. As a result, Walton’s range of electronics, home and electrical appliance products used by majority of households in the region were affected. These products will require servicing. Therefore, Walton product repair service will be provided free of charge for flood affected customers.

He said that the Walton family is always there for customers in their distress. In continuation of this, Walton’s customers whose electronics and electrical products have been damaged in the flood-affected areas have been given free servicing charges. In addition, if any new spare parts or spare parts are required for product repair, customers will be given a special discount on the price of those parts. It should be noted that at the beginning of the flood, the members of the Walton family stood by the helpless people with the slogan ‘Beside the people, for the people’. Walton’s local distributors, dealers, Plaza sales representatives and CSM department representatives came forward to distribute relief to the flood affected areas. In addition, Walton Corporate Office also provided financial donations and large amount of relief materials to various organizations and institutions approved by the government. In the post-flood situation, an initiative has been taken to provide free repair services to consumers of Walton’s damaged electronics and electrical products.
