The anti-discrimination student movement has announced a new program for the next two days amid the ongoing non-cooperation movement.

Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the movement, announced this program in a post on his Facebook ID on Sunday (August 4) afternoon.

Tomorrow, Monday (August 5), unveiling of martyrs’ memorial plaques in memory of the martyrs, workers’ rally at Shahbagh at 11 am and women’s rally at 5 pm have been called.

Students, citizens and workers from all over the country have been invited to come to Dhaka on Tuesday (August 6). This program has been named ‘Long March to Dhaka’.

Nahid Islam, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, called for the formation of student-led struggle committees in all areas, neighborhoods, villages, upazilas and districts in a statement given to the media.

In the statement, he said, “If the internet is cracked down and we are missing, arrested, killed, if there is no one to announce the program, then everyone should occupy the streets and continue the peaceful non-cooperation movement until the government falls on one-point demand.”

On Sunday, the agitators are holding a non-cooperation movement across the country on the call of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement.
