At least eight people have died after a cargo ship sank in the waters between Japan and South Korea, Chinese officials said.
The cargo ship named Jin Tian was said to have 14 Chinese and 8 Myanmar nationals on board.
The ship, bound for South Korea, ran aground southwest of Nagasaki, Japan, last Wednesday. It has been reported that 8 people died when the ship sank while rescue operations were underway.
