Watan Today: The Unified Admissions Coordination Unit of the Higher Education Council in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces that the process of submitting electronic applications for the bridging program in public Jordanian universities will begin from the morning of Thursday, September 14, 2023, until twelve o’clock at night on the following day. Monday, September 18, 2023, through the unit’s website at the following link: www.admhec.gov.jo, where the student enters the website referred to above, submits the application for admission and stores the options, and then pays the application fee for submission. The unit would like to draw the attention of dear students to the following:
First: It is necessary to enter the website of the Unified Admission Coordination Unit, with the aim of reviewing its components, such as: Jordanian university specializations corresponding to community college specializations, admission conditions, fees, advice and instructions, in order to benefit from this information and help them submit the electronic admission application.
Second: All students wishing to make any amendment to the enrollment application (previously stored options) can access the software at any time, around the clock during the period specified for the enrollment application process.
Third: The categories of students that are entitled to apply for admission are:
1. The top 5% successful students in the Intermediate University Certificate Examination (Comprehensive Examination) for the academic year 2022-2023, who were identified by Al-Balqa Applied University, provided that their majors in the community college diploma have corresponding majors in official Jordanian universities.
2. Students who have obtained a community college diploma in previous years, provided that the student’s average in the comprehensive exam is at least (68%), with the exception of students who wish to bridge the specializations of pharmacy, engineering, and veterinary medicine, where their average is required to be no less than (70%), and they must after Submit an application and upload a copy of the comprehensive exam certificate (which includes the percentage) as quickly as possible.
3. Only pharmacy diploma students who hold a high school diploma/scientific stream are allowed to bridge the pharmacy major, and all students wishing to bridge the pharmacy major must upload a copy of their high school transcript (whether the student is a graduate of the current year or previous years).
