It provides information that is distributed geographically and temporally, as well as by sex and, when possible, by economic level, which makes it an indispensable tool for planning policies that have improving the health system and reducing possible health inequalities in health levels. Information about mental health problems can be found on pages 39-42, 97-100, 169-170. The document concluded that 34% of the population suffers from some mental health problem, exceeding 40% of the population aged 50 and over and 50% of those aged 85 and over. , the most common of which are anxiety disorders, insomnia and depression.
