“In anticipation of the annual revision of the general electoral lists for the year 2024, the Minister of the Interior reminds citizens not yet registered on said lists, who meet the legal conditions and are at least 18 years old or due to reach this age on March 31, 2024, that the operation for submitting new applications for registration on said lists is open until December 31, 2023,” the press release states.
Concerned citizens are invited to submit their requests directly to the offices of the local administrative authority responsible for their place of residence or via the website “www.listeselectorales.ma“, underlines the same source.
Similarly, the press release adds, citizens who have changed their place of residence must submit, within the same time limit, their requests for transfer of registration to the electoral roll of the municipality or district to which their new place of residence belongs.
Concerning citizens registered on these lists, who have changed their place of residence within the same municipality or district, they must, within the same time limit, inform the administrative authority responsible for their new place of residence in order to update their address in the electoral list of the municipality or district concerned.
Furthermore, voters registered on the general electoral lists can check their personal data contained in these lists by sending an SMS to the free number 2727, the press release concludes.
