Another 11 people resigned from the Turkish opposition party

11 founding members of Turkey’s opposition Future Party resigned today.

It should be noted that mass resignations took place in the Future Party on May 5, and in the Memleket Party on May 13.

It should be noted that nearly 60 million people participated in the presidential and parliamentary elections held on May 14 in Turkey.

In the elections, the President of Turkey, the head of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Recep Tayyip Erdogan 49.50%, the candidate of the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu 44.89%, the candidate of the Fatherland Union Sinan Ogan 5.17%, the candidate of the Memleket Party Muharrem Ince and collected 0.44% of votes.

In the presidential elections, no candidate won the right to be elected because he did not receive more than 50% of the votes, and the second round of the presidential elections will be held in Turkey on May 28.
