In Karnataka, 545 sub-inspectors have been booked by the CID for alleged irregularities in the selection process. Police are investigating. Accordingly, Sunilkumar appeared for questioning the day before yesterday. Then he brought the OMR. When the documents including the seat were checked, it was found that there was something wrong with it.
He was arrested and interrogated by the police. Sunilkumar then admitted to cheating in the exam. He also claimed that Rudra Gowda had given Rs 40 lakh to Patil to win the sub-inspector examination. Thus he was arrested by the police. They also produced him in court and took him into their custody.
