During the time period from January 2016 to January 2018, while living with his daughter, at times when the other family members were in other rooms and did not interfere with his illegal activities, he repeatedly violently committed sexual acts with the little girl and also raped her several times .

On the other hand, between January 2018 and September 2020, the accused, living alone because he had left the family, at night, while the other family members were sleeping and did not interfere with his illegal activities, came to the girl’s place of residence and took her to his place of residence, where he violently sexually assaulted her. character actions with the child and repeatedly raped her, but then told the girl to go back to her residence alone.

In the period from 2021 to July 2022, the accused was in a prison, where he was serving a prison sentence for another criminal offense.

After his release from the institution of deprivation of liberty, the accused continued his criminal activities and between August 2022 and November 2022 he repeatedly violently committed sexual acts with his daughter and raped her.

As a result of the accused man’s illegal actions, the victim girl’s sexual integrity, morality and normal physical and mental development were threatened.

“Because of such actions, children suffer most seriously. Therefore, the perpetrators of the mentioned and similar crimes must answer to the law and be dealt with with the utmost severity,” emphasizes the prosecutor of the East Zemgale Prosecutor’s Office.

The prosecutor’s office points out that if there is even the slightest suspicion that a child may have suffered from sexual or other forms of violence, the State Police should be contacted immediately.
