Another fierce protagonist in the cameraphone arena

by time news

Time.news – To confirm that photography is the only environment in which smartphone manufacturers are still capable (or want) to innovate comes OnePlus 10 Pro5G, the device of the Chinese house that mounts the second generation of the Hasselblad for Mobile camera and a 120 Hz display with improved LTPO technology and Dual Color Calibration.

But given that OnePlus has always winked at the younger audience, the new device also pushes performance for gaming.

The camera

The second generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile supports the Billion Color Solution mode, which allows you to apply Hasselblad’s Natural Color Calibration feature on over a billion colors. Each of the OnePlus 10 Pro’s three rear cameras is capable of shooting in full 10-bit color. In this way, the device can process 64 times more colors than smartphones that shoot with 8-bit colors.

A new ultra-wide camera achieves a 150-degree field of view and takes photos four times wider than those captured by 120-degree ultra-wide cameras. The photo module is ceramic coated which offers 30% more scratch resistance.

The engine

The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform, whose consumption is governed by a SUPERVOOC 80W charging speed and a 5,000 mAh battery that can be recharged from 1 to 100% in 32 minutes and provide a day of autonomy in 15 minutes. AIRVOOC 50W wireless charging brings OnePlus 10 Pro from 1-100% in 47 minutes.

Display

The OnePlus 10 Pro’s 6.7-inch QHD + display boasts improved LTPO technology that allows the device to adjust the frame rate between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on the type of content being viewed. As a result, it consumes less power than displays fixed at a 90Hz refresh rate.

For gaming

The OnePlus 10 Pro supports the HyperBoost Gaming Engine, which powers a host of new gaming features designed to deliver a more stable and responsive gaming experience, including the General Performance Adapter (GPA) Frame Stabilizer and O-Sync which has the goal of reducing the fluctuation of the frame rate during gaming sessions and to ensure that, where frame rate drops occur, this happens gradually and not with sudden drops.

O-Sync, on the other hand, increases the synchronization speed between the processor and the display of the OnePlus 10 Pro by up to six times during gaming sessions. This reduces response times by up to 30 milliseconds, so the device reacts faster to each touch.

OxygenOS 12

The operating interface is OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12 and will receive 3 major Android updates and 4 years of security updates.

OnePlus 10 Pro will be on sale starting from April 5 at 919 for the 8 + 128 GB version; 999 for the 12 + 256 GB one.
