Another gas ship arrived in the port of Colombo

Colombo (News 1st) The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has said that another ship carrying more than 2,000 metric tons of gas has arrived in the Port of Colombo.

Retired Maj. Gen. Shantha Dissanayake, chairman of the council, said samples had been obtained to test the quality of the gas brought on board and sent to the two companies for testing.

Meanwhile, the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) yesterday (15) took action to stop the supply of gas imported to the country by another ship due to the lack of proper quality of the mercaptan chemical.

Retired Maj. Gen. Shantha Dissanayake, chairman of the Consumer Affairs Authority, has pointed out that there is currently a shortage of gas in many parts of the country.
