Another large factory in the north was closed: dozens of workers were laid off

by time news

The “Stanley” factory is owned by the American corporation and is one of three factories operated by them in Israel. Officials in the management of the plant in Israel have confirmed that the employment of 10% of the workers in Israel has ended and that the activity at one of the production sites has moved to other sites due to the drop in demand. Despite this, the company anticipates that the site will return to activity in the future, but the same employees will no longer work there.

The Stanley Israel company stated: “10% of the employees were indeed laid off, we did not close any factories, the activity at one of the sites was transferred to the other sites for the coming period in order to optimize and maximize work during a period when demand decreased. We anticipate a return to full activity at the site during the first quarter of next year.”
