In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the second suspect was detained in the case of embezzlement of a large sum from the cash desk of the Alfa-Bank branch in Achinsk. It was Denis Grigoriev, the husband of the cashier Anna Grigorieva, who is also suspected of stealing money. On December 17, the man was detained by the police and placed in the IVS. Today, the Achinsk city court granted the request of the investigation and arrested the suspect until February 7, 2022, said the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk.
The case of embezzlement from the bank’s cash desk of 15 million rubles, $ 49.5 thousand and € 49.2 thousand was initiated on December 7 under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (misappropriation or embezzlement of entrusted funds on an especially large scale, punishment – up to 10 years in prison). The suspect, the cashier of the credit organization Anna Grigorieva, hid from the investigation for a week, but then she came to the police station herself, there was no money with her. Her mother convinced her to surrender to law enforcement officers after a conversation with an operative.
During the disappearance of the cashier, her husband appeared on television. According to him, his wife made a suicide attempt shortly before her disappearance, but she was saved. The woman spent several hours in the hospital, and then fled home from there in her pajamas and slippers. After his wife was put on the wanted list, Denis Grigoriev, according to him, found a suicide note in her purse.
On Thursday, December 16, Anna Grigorieva was arrested until February 7. Her lawyer Sergei Evdokimov said he would appeal the arrest decision.
