ANSUTEN comes to the aid of rural radio in Guinea and ENSAC – 2024-04-21 21:34:41

With the vision of making electronic communications services an important lever for economic growth by significantly reducing the digital divide in Guinea, the national agency for universal telecommunications and digital service (ANSUTEN), continues to come to the aid of Guinean administrative services .

This Wednesday, April 17, 2024, she (ANSUTEN) made the official handover of several computer equipment to the national school of the administration and commerce secretariat (ENSAC) and the general management of rural radio of Guinea. The two handover ceremonies took place within the ANSUTEN premises in the presence of managers of the beneficiary structures.
These are 100 computers donated to this school (ENSAC) from the department in charge of technical education, vocational training and employment; 40 Lenovo ThinkPad L440 brand laptops, 37 Dell 3090 or HP 290 g4 office computers, 36 Epson I3210 printers, 70 dictaphones and 36 voltage regulators, all for rural radio in Guinea.
The initiative reflects ANSUTEN’s ongoing commitment to improving access to information and communication technologies in all sectors of Guinean society.

Present at the ceremony, the Director General of ANSUTEN, Sékou Oumar Barry will make it known that these contributions fall well within the prerogatives of his management.

“For us, what we do is our duty to support. In ANSUTEN’s missions, there is the training and awareness part of everything that involves the use of digital technology. We will rely on rural radio stations to send the right messages,” he said.

For his part, Souleymane Bah, Secretary General of the Ministry of Information and Communication, emphasized his intervention on the role played by rural radio stations, before thanking ANSUTEN officials very much for this considerable support.

“I say a big thank you to ANSUTEN, to all its workers and to all those who worked to make this project possible. This equipment that we are receiving today will provide invaluable support for our various stations. And we promise you that this equipment will be used wisely,” said Makemé Bamba, general director of rural radio.

As for the management of ENSAC, Hadja Fatoumata Touré. she welcomed the support before ensuring the proper use of this equipment. “It’s a feeling of emotion and pride that drives me. I sincerely thank my ministry which thought of my modest school to offer this donation. My thanks also go to ANSUTEN who offered us all this educational material to allow our learners to practice better. We promise that these tools will be used wisely. And we will spare no effort in their maintenance. »

The digitalization advisor at the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training and Employment, Maimouna Diakhaby, on behalf of her minister, thanked ANSUTEN for granting these computers to ENSAC.
“It is for me a real pleasure to receive these computers which will in fact allow the Ministry of Technical Education to contribute to achieving the objectives assigned by the Prime Minister, head of government to our ministry. Objective which aims to further qualify technical education in the digital field and above all to also fill the deficits in terms of infrastructure in our schools (…) Once again we warmly thank ANSUTEN for this donation which was made to this school of technical education. »
