Anti-bribery raid at former AIADMK MLA’s house

Namakkal: Former AIADMK MLA K.P.P. has accumulated more property than his income. Anti-corruption officials have been raiding Bhaskar’s house and 26 properties owned by him since yesterday morning.

In this case, the officials who investigated the complaint confirmed that Bhaskar had bought and accumulated assets worth 4 crore 72 lakh rupees, which was 315% more than his income.

Following this, a case was registered against Bhaskar and his wife Uma, and anti-bribery officials conducted raids at 26 places including Namakkal, Madurai and Tirupur yesterday.

The search continued at more than 20 places, including the homes of his close friends Mailsundaram and Shekhar. Anti-corruption officials also investigated a construction office owned by Bhaskar’s cousin Hari in Tirupur.
