Elon Musk shared his personal experience with the anti-Covid vaccination on Saturday January 21. In a series of tweets, the boss of Tesla and Twitter explained that he had “felt dying” for several days after receiving a second booster dose, suffering “significant side effects”.
On the social network, the billionaire also revealed that his cousin “in good health” suffered from myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart, one of the possible side effects seen after vaccination against the coronavirus.
“I had significant side effects after my second injection. I felt like I was dying for several days”, he claimed, “hoping there will be no permanent damage”. And to add: “My cousin, who is young and healthy, had a severe case of myocarditis. He had to go to the hospital,” he asserted.
Asked by internet users why he accepted a second booster dose, Elon Musk justified this by “the obligation to be vaccinated to travel to Tesla headquarters in Berlin, Germany.“ “It was not my choice”, he specifies.
And my cousin, who is young & in peak health, had a serious case of myocarditis. Had to go to the hospital.

The Twitter boss released more details about his experience with vaccines, saying he only had “no problem with the first Johnson & Johnson vaccine” nor with the first mRNA booster dose. “I basically had a mild cold. Then I had the J&J vaccine with no ill effects, except my arm hurt briefly.”he tweeted.
Major side effects in 12 million people
The Tesla founder goes on to explain that “the first mRNA booster was fine, but the second one blew me away.”
I had OG C19 before vaccines came out and it was basically a mild cold.
Then had J&J vaccine with no bad effects, except my arm hurt briefly.
First mRNA booster was ok, but the second one crushed me.

Elon Musk’s tweets came in response to a report by Rasmussen Reports, an American polling company. According to one of his surveys, “about 12 million people may have experienced significant side effects after receiving Covid vaccines.”
Question: 68% of 260M Adults (177M) indicate they received the COVID-19 VAX and 7% of those reported major side effects. That translates (177 x .07) into approx 12M people.
The CDC says major side effects are “rare.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) claimed that myocarditis cases are a “rare risk” for those receiving mRNA vaccines against Covid-19. “These rare cases of myocarditis or pericarditis most commonly occurred in adolescent and young adult males, ages 16 and older, within seven days of receiving the second dose of a Covid mRNA vaccine. -19 (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna)”says the CDC on its website.
