The Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) deploys anti-doping control devices nationwide, with the aim of removing dangerous drivers from circulation.
Authorities carried out an anti-doping control on the Troncal del Norte highway, at kilometer 12 and a half, as well as controls in the eastern and western areas.
“With these controls we want to make the population understand the risks of driving under the influence of alcohol,” explained the Director General of Traffic, Félix Serrano.
Authorities are calling on the public to respect traffic laws and to refrain from driving under the influence of alcohol or any other drug.
