In order to combat sexual harassment in public transport, the National Police of Peru (PNP) published a campaign in which an alleged stalker appeared wearing a Real Madrid shirt.
“If you are a victim or witness of sexual harassment on public transport, report it to the nearest police officer or call 105,” the police of that country requested.

In the campaign clip, the alleged stalker wearing the Real Madrid shirt brushes against a woman’s body on a public transport unit, but is immediately stopped by an officer, while the other passengers celebrate the officer’s action.
The clip of the Peruvian police campaign went viral on social media, and some Real Madrid fans expressed their displeasure at the suggestion that those who follow the club would engage in inappropriate sexual behavior against people.

This did not go unnoticed by Real Madrid, as Diario Marca reported that the team asked for the clip and the campaign based on the video where the actor who plays the stalker can be seen being removed.
The intention of the PNP of showing a “stalker” wearing the white team jersey in its anti-harassment campaign, is based on a real case that occurred last March 29 2024, officers arrested an alleged stalker who was wearing a Real Madrid shirt.
