Two hanged for killing soldier during anti-hijab protests in Iran Following the death of Mahsa Amini, the number of people being executed is increasing due to the anti-hijab protests that swept the country. The execution of two people in December sparked global protests.

The government announced that Muhammad Mahadi Karami and Syed Muhammad Hosseini were hanged in the case of the death of a security officer named Ruhalla Ajamian. Muhammad Hosseini dies on November 3. In December, the court sentenced both of them to death and the Supreme Court upheld the death sentence.
