The Dravidar League has announced that it will take part in the struggle to destroy the Hindi script at the Chennai-Egmore railway station tomorrow (Apr. 30), led by Dravidar League leader K. Veeramani.
The Dravidar League, led by K. Veeramani, the leader of the Dravidar League, had announced that it would march from the Periyar Stadium in Chennai, march along the Periyar Evera Highway and destroy the Hindi characters at the Chennai-Egmore railway station, in protest of the central government’s imposition of India in the name of national education.

They were detained by the police near the Veeran Alakumuthukon statue near the Chennai Egmore railway station. Later K. Veeramani and more than 500 Dravidar youths who took part in the protest were arrested.
