Anti-Semitic reference; Adidas ends partnership with Kanye West

‘Adidas’ is ending its partnership with rapper Kanye West after controversial anti-Semitic remarks. The German sportswear giants said in a statement that anti-Semitism and hate speech cannot be tolerated.

The company discussed whether to continue its partnership with West after he appeared at a Paris fashion show wearing a shirt emblazoned with ‘White Lives Matter’. Kanye’s recent comments and actions are unacceptable, disgusting and dangerous. They violate company values. Adidas is therefore terminating its partnership with Kanye West.

Recently at Paris Fashion Week, she caused controversy when she misused the slogan “Black Lives Matter” and wore a T-shirt that read “White Lives Matter”. Kanye West’s Instagram and Twitter accounts were suspended by the company for posting anti-Semitic posts. He made posts like Jews controlling a musician.

West has made inflammatory posts before. West’s Instagram accounts were suspended for a day after he made a racial slur against comedian Trevor Noah.
