Barely six months after taking office, she is already expected to leave her post. “Harvard President Claudine Gay will resign Tuesday afternoon, ending the shortest presidency in the university’s history,” writes the university student newspaper.

Also according to the Harvard Crimson, this decision “comes against a backdrop of growing allegations of plagiarism and lingering doubts about his ability to respond to anti-Semitism on campus after his disastrous testimony to Congress on December 5.”
