Anti-wolf signs in Alto Adige, a new offensive by an environmental group – News

BOLZANO. The environmental association Legal intervention group (GrIG) has submitted a new request to request information and measures regarding the presence of anti-wolf signs along the roads of Alto Adige, in particular in Selva dei Molini, between Campo Tures and Lappago.

This is reported by GrIG itself, according to which these signs would have been installed without authorization. Already in 2023, the association had reported the situation to the government commissioner for the province of Bolzano, to the public prosecutor’s office and to the carabinieri, asking to verify possible crimes of causing alarm and illegal posting.

In response, the government commissioner involved the police, who found twenty-one anti-wolf banners in various locations in South Tyrol, both on private and public areas, starting investigations for possible administrative sanctions.

The Province of Bolzano, on that occasion, also confirmed that it had not issued authorizations for the installation of these signs, which would be in conflict with the Highway Code.
