The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov signed a decree extending the current anti-coronavirus restrictions in the region until September 1, 2021. Some of them are escalating due to a sharp increase in the incidence of COVID-19. In the last 24 hours alone, 201 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the region.

Legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are prohibited from working on weekends and holidays of entertainment centers and other entertainment establishments, including children’s leisure facilities.

Restaurants, cafes, bars, canteens, buffets, snack bars and other catering establishments will not work from 23 to 8 in the morning. The only exception is for night takeaway service and delivery of orders. Food service points and gas stations of the peninsula will continue to work around the clock.

It is prohibited to hold contests, fairs and sweepstakes on the territory of shopping and entertainment complexes.

In the municipalities where the maximum number of cases of COVID-19 is recorded – in Simferopol, Simferopol district, Yalta and Alushta – entertainment and entertainment events are prohibited, as well as the work of discos, karaoke clubs, hookah bars, nightclubs, concert and dance halls, including number located in catering establishments. It is also prohibited to hold proms in the same municipalities.

In theaters and cinemas, it is allowed to sell tickets for no more than 50 percent of the seats in auditoriums. The sale of food and non-food products, including packaged ones, is also prohibited there.

Earlier, the Crimean Public Chamber was in favor of toughening antiquated measures. Recall that in the Republic of Crimea, it is also recommended to conduct a 100% vaccination of all employees of the sanatorium-resort sector and enterprises providing services to tourists.
