Brazilian player lost his place in the Red Devils’ starting lineup
Antony has experienced highs and lows since his signing with Manchester United in 2022. In a conversation with Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, published by the English outlet ‘Daily Mail’, the player’s agent expressed the athlete’s desire regarding his future.
– I see reports about a possible loan exit. His plan is clear: Manchester United. He wants to stay and is focused only on Man United. We’ve already discussed this with the club. – said Pedroso, the player’s agent.
The Brazilian also seems to have the support of Erik Ten Hag. The Dutch coach, despite being questioned, had his contract renewed with the club at the beginning of July. He was close to being dismissed, and the previous agreement was set until 2025, with an option to extend for one more season.
Antony’s start with the Red Devils was promising. In his debut against Arsenal, he scored one of the goals that secured a 3-1 victory. However, the forward was unable to maintain the same level in the following seasons.
