AOC has presented the 16G3, a portable monitor just 11.5 mm thick and weighing 1.1 kg for those who want something manageable to accompany a laptop as a second screen or even for certain mini-PCs. Of course, it is a model in principle for gamers, 39.6 cm (15.6 in) diagonal, IPS type, with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.
Its refresh rate is 144 Hz with a response time of 4 ms, with a maximum brightness of 250 nits and a static contrast of 1000:1. It has Adaptive-Sync adaptive refresh, compatible at least with FreeSync. It has auto-rotation capacity for when changing from landscape to portrait position.
It is compatible with 50mm × 50mm VESA mounts. It includes a USB Type-C socket that supports DisplayPort video and charging (no wattage indicated), and a micro-HDMI that is compatible with Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles.
Its price is 319 euros and goes on sale this month.
