Kochi: Apani Sarath, who is in the fifth year of her acting career, has announced her first production venture on Vishu, her fifth year in a row. Sarath is all set to make his debut in the road movie thriller ‘Point Blank’ directed by Zainu Chavakkad.
Sarath’s new production company is named Thiyamma Productions. Apart from Sarath, Shiji Mohammad is also co-producing the film under the banner of DM Productions.
Apart from Malayalam, the film will be released in Pan India in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Filming is scheduled to start on August 17 in Goa. Apart from Goa, the film will be shot in Mahe, Chennai, Kochi and Trichy. The film stars Appani Sarath in the lead role and stars Malayalam and Tamil actors. Bonnie Assaner, one of the partners of High Hopes Film Factory, is the screenwriter and creative director for the film.
