Washington: Former US President Donald Trump’s home is being searched by the API for nuclear weapons documents.

Former US President Trump has a house called Marra Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. A few days ago, the American Intelligence Agency (API) conducted a raid here. The search was conducted to see if Trump was carrying some classified documents when he left the White House in January last year. This is the first time in US history that such a raid has been carried out at the home of a former US president.

In this case, the Washington Post reported that when Trump’s home was raided, nuclear weapons documents were searched. But there is no information about whether the documents have been recovered or not.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, appointed by President Joe Biden, authorized the search of Trump’s home. According to reports, 10 boxes of documents were seized from Trump’s home. The US Department of Justice has asked for a list of these documents to be made public.

To protect people’s rights, US law enforcement officials do not consult with anyone about investigations. But former President Trump announced last Monday that his home had been raided. Trump was not in Florida when the raid took place.

It is not known whether or not Trump’s lawyers will object to making the documents seized at his home public. The case is currently before US Judge Bruce Reinhart. Trump attorneys Evan Corcoran and John Rowley declined to comment on the matter.

In a statement, Trump said, “My attorneys are fully cooperating. “If we had any documents, the government could have got what they wanted,” he said.
