“PC was received at the Jakarta Women’s Lapas on August 23, 2023 at 17.00 WIB,” said Rika via short message, Thursday (24/8/2023).
Upon arrival at the Jakarta Women’s Prison, said Rika, Putri Candrawathi immediately underwent admission administration. These include checking files and health checks. After completing the admissions administration, Putri was immediately placed in the Environmental Introduction Period Room (Mapenaling).
“PCs are placed in the mapping room (environmental introduction period). PC acceptance is carried out according to the applicable SOP,” explained Rika.
Just to note, the Supreme Court Judge (MA) granted leniency to the convicts in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J.
Ferdy Sambo, who was previously sentenced to death, was sentenced to life imprisonment. Meanwhile, Princess Candrawathi, who was previously sentenced to 20 years in prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Ricky Rizal Wibowo, who was previously sentenced to 13 years in prison, was sentenced to 8 years in prison and Strong Ma’ruf, who was previously sentenced to 15 years in prison, was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The sentences for the defendants were lighter than the verdict of the South Jakarta District Court Panel of Judges and upheld by the DKI Jakarta High Court.
