Apple considers canceling iPhone SE production

by time news

Apple’s roadmap for its following products includes a new iPhone SE, cheaper than the rest of the devices, which the company is considering cancel their mass production before the recession that will bring the year 2023.

the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has warned that Apple is considering canceling or postponing mass production of the iPhone SE 4, which is expected to launch in 2024, based on its latest research.

The reasons for this decision would be found in a lower-than-expected distribution of the iPhone from lower ranges, and concerns about the increased costs that an all-screen design would have on the new iPhone SE.

“As a result, Apple may need to reconsider product positioning and ROI for SE 4,” anticipates the analyst in a thread on Twitter. Its cancellation would also help the company to overcome global recession which is expected in 2023.
