Apple has settled on its future plans to launch its own MacBook laptops, and the improvements it will add in the near future by relying on the latest OLED screens.
And a reliable analyst, Ross Young, who is close to suppliers to Apple, confirmed that the company inquired about large-sized OLED screens recently and confirmed that there are plans to launch a new generation of MacBook laptops with this new type of high-definition screen.
He explained that Apple’s idea to launch iPads also for the first time with this type of advanced screen, in a comprehensive expansion of all devices in the future.
He confirmed that Apple’s inquiry was about making 13.3-inch screens, and this would most likely be for a laptop, while its idea was for 11- and 12.9-inch iPad screens.

The leaker confirmed that Apple wants to rely on this new type of screen in all devices, and most likely it will arrive in 2024 after the next, as the company has already started implementing its ideas about the MacBook Air and Pro for the current and next year, and therefore there will be no laptop with an OLED screen. before 2024.
On the other hand, the American giant may use 11- and 12.9-inch screens in the iPad Pro models.
While the company will rely on a display technology called ‘tandem stacking’ which will improve screen image quality while reducing power consumption by 30% as is the case in iPhone phones.
In addition, it is also expected that there will be an improvement in the automatic change of image refresh rates to increase efficiency, and conserve energy.
It’s worth noting that Apple already has OLED MacBooks in the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, which the company has dubbed Liquid Retina XDR.
It is also worth noting that a previous report had confirmed that Apple would launch a new 15-inch MacBook Air for the first time, and also mentioned plans for a smaller 12-inch screen at the end of this year or the beginning of 2023, all of which will work with the company’s new processor M2.
