Apple held a presentation, during which it introduced several new products – 3rd generation AirPods, MacBook Pro and HomePod speakers, according to the company’s website.
The new third-generation AirPods are similar in appearance to AirPods Pro, but they do not have silicone tips. Plus, they’re 33% shorter than 2nd generation AirPods. The devices are equipped with a force sensor for easier control of music and calls.
Apple claims the new generation of earbuds and their MagSafe charging case are waterproof and can withstand both sweating during exercise and rain. Also, the developers have increased the operating time of AirPods by one hour compared to the previous model: you can continuously listen to music for 6 hours, talk on the phone for 4 hours. At the same time, 5 minutes of charging provides about an hour of use.
Finally, the new earbuds feature dynamic head tracking spatial audio. This way, the microphones automatically track what the person hears and then adjust the low and mid frequencies to match the shape of the ear.
AirPods will cost $ 179. You can order them from today, they will appear in stores on October 26.
The MacBook Pros introduced by Apple today are equipped with new processors. So, the company abandoned the Intel chip, replacing them with its own developments – M1 Pro and M1 Max. The diagonal of one of the models is 16 inches, the other is 14 inches. The operating time of the first of the devices reaches 21 hours, the second – 17 hours. It is noted that these are the highest rates among all Apple laptops.
In addition, the developers have equipped the MacBook Pro with a 1080p FaceTime HD camera. It was placed under the “bangs”, like the latest iPhones. In addition, the company has added more ports to the devices – an SD card slot, an HDMI port, and a MagSafe charging connector. At the same time, the Touch Bar was removed from the new laptops, replacing it with the corresponding keys.

Finally, Apple introduced the HomePod mini speaker in new colors – yellow, orange and blue. However, the characteristics of these devices have not changed. The devices sell for $ 99.
