The main novelty is traditionally considered to be the iPhone: Apple presented the new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. iPhone 13 will be available in two cases – 5.4 and 6.1 inches. The new smartphone is presented in five colors: pink, blue, red, “dark night” and “shining star”. They use Apple’s A15 Bionic chip with a 6-core processor and a 4-core GPU. Apple says the A15 Bionic processor is “50% faster than its closest competitor.” The new generation of smartphones has been equipped with a cinematic shooting function – the focus is automatically redirected when shooting a video: the software itself predicts the position of faces, but you can also adjust it manually. Prices in the US start at $ 699 for the iPhone 13 and $ 799 for the mini version.
The company also unveiled the new iPhone 13 Pro – it comes with ProMotion support – with an adaptive frequency of up to 120Hz. The display is now bright even in bright sunlight, and the 77mm telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom allows you to take classic portraits, magnify the image six times, and take bright and clear pictures with all the details, the company says. The effect of “live filters” has also been added – processing is not after, but before the picture is taken.
In 2020, Apple held three presentations. On the first in September, the company showed the updated iPad and Apple Watch, on the second in October – the iPhone 12, and on the third in November – the MacBook Air and Pro on ARM, the M1 processor and Mac mini.
