While the 256GB variants of many phones are available in this budget, the 128GB storage variants offer better value for money in a few cases. And then we included both. Best phones to buy under 60,000 rupees in India
Apple iPhone 12
The 128GB storage variant of the Apple iPhone 12 is still available for under Rs 60,000, and that makes it the best value for money on the iPhone. iPhone 12 feels great in the hand and is the perfect size for one-handed operation. Its 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display is compatible with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, protected from scratches and smudges with a ceramic glass and anti-oil coating respectively.
It’s powered by Apple’s previous flagship A14 Bionic chip that still packs plenty of processing power for whatever task you’re going to do on this phone. You get two reliable 12MP cameras on the back with the primary lens providing OIS, and the second capable of capturing ultra-wide shots. Just like the iPhone 12, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G also has IP68 ingress protection. It has a 6.4 inch Full HD + Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with HDR10 + compatibility, 120Hz refresh rate and protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2100 chip which can be found in most of their high-end phones of recent times. Here you get 8GB of RAM and a choice between 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 12 with One UI 4 from Samsung.

Realme GT 2 Pro is another new entrant in our 60K list. It’s a portable phone that offers features and performance that rivals the OnePlus 10 Pro at a much lower price. Just like the 10 Pro, it is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and accompanied by either 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The design is also very comfortable, thanks to the paper-like biopolymer back.

A metal frame and a glass body protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back give the phone elegance and durability. It has a 6.7-inch LTPO Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and QHD resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels. The HDR10+ compatible screen can display 1 billion colors and get up to 1,300 nits.
The photography department offers a good variety with a combination of a 48MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide camera with auto focus, an 8MP telephoto camera with OIS for 3.3X optical zoom and a 2MP mono camera.
