Apple at the first presentation in 2021 called Spring Loaded introduced the iPhone 12 in a new – purple – color.
In a video presentation from the headquarters in Cupertino, California, Apple CEO Tim Cook presented the new devices. The purple iPhone 12 will be available for pre-order on April 24, and the smartphones will go on sale from April 30.
The company also introduced AirTag beacons – with the help of them, you can find items that the user has lost in the room. As explained in the company, the iPhone will indicate the direction to the key fob using a “locator” – through a camera, a tag in augmented reality and a gyroscope. The price of the device will be $ 29 per piece or $ 99 for a set of four key fobs. Beacons will be available for pre-order on April 23rd and will go on sale on April 30th.
In addition, Apple showed at the presentation the new iMac on its own M1 processors. The iMac has also significantly redesigned and expanded the color gamut – they will be available in seven colors. The screen of the new iMac is 24 inches, they will support surround sound through six speakers. The new devices are equipped with three microphones with noise cancellation system, which is mainly intended for recording sounds. Touch ID has been built into the keyboard for the iMac – device owners will be able to turn it on using a fingerprint. The devices will be open for pre-orders on April 30, starting at $ 1499.
Apple also unveiled new iPad Pro tablets. The presentation said that the new iPad has an M1 chip. The company claims that the new generation will run twice as fast as the previous one. The device supports 5G. The new iPads also include a Central Stage feature that lets you recognize and track a person in the frame. The new iPads are equipped with a keyboard, so the look and feel is more like a laptop. Introduced iPad Pro also received a new mini-LED-screen. Apple will open pre-orders starting April 30, with sales in the second half of May. Prices for the device will start at $ 799.
