Apple released the iOS 15.4 update on iPhones, so that for the first time they could unlock their phones while wearing a muzzle.

The update strongly adds a set of features that many iPhone users have been waiting to experience since the company first began testing it in January, among the most notable of which is unlocking your device while wearing a mask, making it that you do not need an Apple Watch to unlock your phone without removing the face cover or Enter your passcode, according to a report.

The company says – in its messages to users – that iOS 15.4 is available as a free software update, and its most important features: the ability to unlock the iPhone with a faceprint even with the use of the sleeve for iPhone 12 and 13 devices.

The update also includes 37 new emojis, including a motorcycle tire, sledge, disco ball, club elf, coral, beans and low battery.

The update can be downloaded for free as it has become available to all eligible devices, and this can be done by entering the Settings application, then General, then Software Update.

Once you install iOS 15.4, you’ll need to activate it manually in the Face ID & Passcode section of the Settings menu, and iOS 15.4 also comes with a new voice option for Siri.

Apple also released the iPadOS 15.4 update for tablets, and it came with a comprehensive control feature that allows controlling multiple Macs and iPads with the same mouse/keyboard.

To download new updates, launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, then tap General followed by Software update.

Most important additions:
Face ID – is the facial recognition feature while wearing a mask, on iPhone 12 and newer phones.

Emoji – There are new emojis like faces, hand gestures, and household items. The new emoji allows for a handshake to be displayed with a different skin tone for each hand.

Siri – On iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 or later, Siri can provide time and date information while offline.

Vaccine Cards – The update now allows uploading and storing verifiable copies of MERS-CoV vaccine certificates, lab results, and other documents.
