The users of Apple’s devices and streaming services who have used iTunes to date to access the list of songs and movies they have purchased from the company, and to manage the company’s products in their possession, They will do this from now on using three separate apps which are already available in the Microsoft Store.
The apps are designed for Windows 10 users and provide separation between the three main areas in which iTunes deals. The third application is Apple Devices which is intended for updating, backing up, restoring and managing the user’s iPhone and iPad devices as well as automatically synchronizing the content included in them with the content saved on the computer.
Users will need to download all three apps to use iTunes from now on. If only one of the apps is downloaded, iTunes will prompt you to download the other two apps to access the music and video content stored in the library.
After downloading the three new apps, iTunes as an app will only be used for two things: access to podcasts and audiobooks. All other actions can only be performed within the three applications mentioned above – unless it is a lower version of Windowsthen iTunes will work as before.
