The police came to the gym due to the message given by the Apple Watch after mishearing the words of the trainer in the gym. The incident took place in Sydney, Australia. 15 armed police rushed to the gym and conducted an inspection.

Boxing trainer and Muay Thai fighter Jamie Alleyne is working on the Series 7 Apple Watch that he wears while training. Siri was activated on the watch. The watch captured the trainees being told the 1-1-2 combination of the training program and praised for their work by saying “good shot”. Then the emergency number 112 was called from the phone and according to that emergency help including police and ambulance would reach the place.

The police arrived at the scene and searched for Jamie Allen and were informed that he had called for emergency assistance. But Jamie said he didn’t call anyone, but when he checked his phone, he found that the call had been missed. After the inspection, it became clear that Apple Watch was the device.

The police had reached the spot seeing the possibility of suicide. The arrival was with preparations including an ambulance. However, Jamie is pleased with the prompt action of the police and emergency services.
